My role

Head of IT & DevOps – full strategic and operational responsibility. Building and leading the entire IT organization including architecture, information security, regulatory requirements, and team development.

Results

  • Complete IT organization built (team, infrastructure, governance)
  • BaFin license obtained for regulated operations
  • Kubernetes-based infrastructure with 99.9% availability and +50% performance improvement
  • Zero major incidents through audits and best practices

Situation

European DORA requirements had to be implemented and the IT strategy fundamentally modernized.

My role

Lead IT Governance – strategic leadership of 25 employees, direct board-level communication. Steering the DORA implementation project, new IT strategy, strengthening IT risk management.

  • Full DORA compliance achieved
  • IT strategy rebuilt from the ground up

  • Standardized procedures for MaRisk/BaFin requirements implemented

Situation

Outdated, manual business processes; no end-to-end digitization. Organically grown IT landscape without clear structure.

My role

Process Management & IT – central interface between IT and business departments. M365 rollout, process modeling (BPMN), building a modern IT service management.
